DESCRIPTION

Black. Deep. Ultra covering. Unexpectedly Intense. It’s like the darkest of the nights. It could be your sensational turning point, or used with moderation, like a spice with every other TEMPRA colour. Do not be fooled by the gothic figure of the damned angel: this is still your guardian angel. Black is the most fascinating and reassuring colour. Black is always the new Black.

ARTISTIC INSPIRATION

Supernatural beings, made of light, are thrown into the black abyss, with the keys of hell in their hands. The only light is the divine flame that is dying within them as they are swallowed by the black. The author was a master of chiaroscuro, fascinated by the gothic and symbolism. Redon stands to painting as much as Poe stands to literature. This work belongs to a series of lithographs and is exhibited at the MoMA in New York.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The direct color that scares the most is always black. But Olegna is a full black, with no warm or reddish tones. It has the ability to cover unwanted reflections and maintain unparalleled brightness and depth. Use it to achieve dusty blues, or to darken bright colors. Remember that it has a very rich pigmentation. We have warned you. Leave it on up to 40 minutes and then rinse well, using warm water at high pressure. Don't shampoo. The gourmand fragrance based on summer fruits and white flowers will transform your hair in a desirable bouquet.

THE OPINION OF MAURO BASSO

For many people black is considered a non-color, but for me OLEGNA is the basis of every color. Use it in grams in each TEMPRA color. It will mattify colors and make every height of tone more intense. To be used cum grano salis.

PECULIAR FACTS

OLEGNA is a fantasy name. Don't go crazy looking for a demon on Google or some occult text. OLEGNA is formulated and designed to be ANGELO's alter ego and is the guardian angel of colorists, no difference than white: like salt and pepper, to give taste and make each color unique.
