This is the essence of Grey. Gray is said to be a colour without colour. But we have formulated MOTHER thinking of a shiny silver, dynamic, made of reflections and full of nuances. We thought of a tone that will leave an eternal doubt between a natural silver and your bold choice of style. Mysterious and iconic like Whistler’s work. No subject and just filled with the essence of gray.
James Abbott McNeill Whistler portrays a figure who is perhaps his mother. He actually had no intention of describing, but he only wanted to represent the essence of gray. And he harmonized the whole scene in various shades. "Who should care who the portrayed is?" he said when his work was strongly criticized at the time, precisely for the absence of a descriptive intent. Exhibited in Paris at the Orsey Museum.
Gray, saturated, but without suffocating the undertones. It has the lightness required to produce a natural and believable result, but also enough intensity to cover and dominate the residual tones. Formulated to be the ideal environment where you can make stand out locks from a cold palette, or accompany bold brushstrokes of warm colors. Intense vegan pigment. Leave on up to 40 minutes and then rinse well, using warm water with high pressure. Do not shampoo. Do not wash in the first 48 hours. The gourmand fragrance based on summer fruits and white flowers will transform your hair in a desirable bouquet.
I love to use gray, especially mixed with ANGELO, and to create elegant shades of pearl gray. Truth is that gray is one of the most common colors in nature and is the sum of the three primaries in a balanced way, so just push one of the three to give silver a unique tone. But the reverse is also true: add MOTHER to any other TEMPRA color to make unique and dusty.
Whistler's Mother is an iconic painting, like Munch's Scream or Leonardo's Mona Lisa. The static nature of the composition enhances the only theme: the shades of gray. Whister's contemporaries called him a "funny joker" because he had emptied the painting of any story other than the pure color.
